Non-Slip Parallel Bar Clamp with Pivot Handle

Woodworking clamps with parallel jaws are great for woodworkers when gluing-up doors, panels, cabinet carcasses and for other tasks where evenly applied pressure is needed to help assemblies and joinery be clamped together square and true.

These Non-slip Parallel Bar Clamps with pivoting handles offer large jaws that are 1-7/8″ wide with a generous clamping depth capacity of 3-3/4″. The unique pivoting screw handle has a collar at the ferrule you can twist for unlocking the handle to pivot it 90° to gain extra leverage in tightening down the clamp. The comfortable, rubberized plastic handles are 4″ long and have a raised contour that gives a powerful no-slip grip. Durable plastic jaw pads won't mar your wood and are resistant to glue. The sturdy steel rail is zinc coated and measures 1-1/8″ x 3/8″.

The sliding jaw incorporates an anti-slip system to prevent it from free fall sliding on the rail when used vertically, yet the jaw slides quickly into position by pushing the handle slightly towards the rail for sliding it closed and pulling it away from the rail to slide the jaw open. The backs of the jaws provide a wide footprint of support so the clamp stays perfectly upright when sitting on your work surface.

Two snap on plastic standoffs help keep your work 1/8″ above the rail to avoid spoiling your wood from stains occurring when wood glue reacts with a metal clamp rail. A plastic end-stop / foot support clipped onto the end of the rail can be removed to reverse the sliding jaw for making a spreader clamp.

Clamps provide up to 1500 lbs of clamping pressure. If your glue joint is still not tight with that amount of pressure, we suggest you check your joinery!

(We recommend a coat of paste wax on the rails of all of your metal bar clamps to make it easier to clean off the drippings of dried glue.)

Please Note: To reach maximum clamping capacity, you will have to remove the support clip from the end of the bar.
